College...don't think I'm read for that yet
Evidently I'm still happy even tho there was no sun today. The musical is finally coming along, progress I say, slow progress! We ran through the whole thing today which I think is the first time that has happened. I then decided to take my 3 hours between classes and chill out with friends. My friend Linnea and I went to a cafe and just talked and talked and talked, which I just love to do!! :)
Today I received info that I have to start picking classes and a curriculum for GAC. I can't believe the time has really come for me to start college. I think I have been dreading this moment ever since I heard the words "college applications" during junior year. Well since the time has officially come I guess I have to be a little excited for it, which I think I am. Just scared at the same time. My hope is to go with Curriculum II from GAC, which is a lot like a charter school based system I think. I hope I get into it and that things slowly start to feel right for me.

When the Stars go Blue
Right now I am torn between two worlds. The one with familiarity and comfort and the one with adventure and surprises. At this moment I don't know what one I want or how to figure out what to do. Things couldn't be easier! Haha. I blame it on the depressing winter that is slowly leaving us here!
Today the highest temp was 35 F. Sadly though the sun has decided to descend back down. As the evening goes on I plan to work on the frustrating GAS email/ activation process! Very annoying. Also must finish a book for English class! I will however, be very happy to hand the book back over to the teacher so I can be rid of it forever! Also I am learning a lot about the human body, stuff I didn't seam to learn in Middle School...odd.
18 Days until I head off to NICE, Germany and Italy!
Things That Can Happen On a Bus in Sweden.....
So as I ride the bus home from watching Melodifestivalen 2010 with Louise I find 2 older couples pulling out cans of beer, popping them open and drinking. One of the men asked this boy sitting in front of me if he would like one and then got up from out of his seat and asked the boy to switch places with him. Very interesting... Then the man put on sunglasses and started acting out a Swedish actor, might I add not very well. But you have to give him credit, he was drunk after all.

Emma's Birthday!
Just so we are all clear I am not talking about the one and only Emma Watson, but the one and only Emma, my sister! It was her birthday a few Mondays ago and I thought I should show how they celebrate birthday's here! They first wake you up at 6:30 am and come into your room singing, baring gifts, and have cake and coffee! This is a very swedish tradition that they do in every household! If the whole family is home they all come in your room, wake you up and sing and take lots of pictures. The best part is that you get cake for breakfast and you get to open your presents that morning, instead of waiting that evening for your birthday dinner, or even later if your having a party the next day. Thats brutal!
