October 10th

Friday after school I learned that Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Funny story actually. I was sitting in a cafe waiting for me friend to meet me and all of a sudden I heard this lady walk by me speaking english and said that Obama won it! I was so excited and so shocked! I guess I really am behind the times. After my exciting news I met up with my friend Andrea and we went out. She let me pick the place for dinner so I picked Pizza Hut!!! Yumm!! It was great! Then after that we met up with one of her friends and went to the movie FAME! It was amazing! I loved it! It was totally a ME movie! Very inspirational. After the movie we went out to a place and just talked. Then Emma met up with me and we left to meet her friends. It was one of Emma's friends Birthdays so we were going out to celebrate. It was a girls night out on the town! A very fun night. I like her friends a lot. We got home very late but that was ok cuz we all had a lot of fun.

Saturday I woke up, cleaned my room and then left for Andrea's house! It was an adventure getting there cuz she lives the total opposite direction. But I did eventually make it there! We got to her house and just hung out until dinner. I met her mom to who was very nice and complemented me on my Swedish. She says I was very good at it which made me feel good. Then we had dinner and watched the first season of Gossip Girl! I like how we have a lot of the same interests. Its very nice, especially when your trying to make new friends. After dinner we hit the couch and ate cookie dough ice cream and kept watching GG. It was a fun night. On my bus ride home, as we were almost to Centrumstation my bus got into a car/bus accident. No one was injured but I did have to walk to my bus stop to meet Ulrika. She was meeting me there to take me home instead of me waiting for another bus. It was very kind of them. So I had to relay that story to them. It was a great weekend!
